Hi friends,

As we reach the midpoint of 2026, it’s a natural time to pause and reflect.

Six months ago, many of us set goals, created plans, and envisioned what we wanted this year to become. Some goals have been achieved. Others are still works in progress. Either way, this halfway point gives us a chance to celebrate our wins, learn from our setbacks, and refocus on what matters most.

For me, one of those areas has been health.

In the First Edition of this month’s Digest, I shared that I had started a personal cleanse focused on getting back to the fundamentals: eating whole foods, increasing protein, eliminating refined sugar, limiting calories, and exercising consistently.

I’m happy to report that it’s going very well.

Thank you to everyone who reached out with encouragement, advice, and support. One of the unexpected blessings of this community is how many people genuinely care about helping one another succeed. Your messages have meant a lot and have helped keep me accountable.

The experience has reinforced something I often discuss on the podcast: discipline isn’t about perfection. It’s about consistently returning to the habits that move us toward our goals.

Father’s Day and Another Trip Around the Sun

This month also brings two personal milestones.

Here in the United States, we celebrate Father’s Day—a time to honor the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and role models who have shaped our lives.

To all the dads reading this, thank you for the sacrifices you make, the lessons you teach, and the example you set every day.

June is also my birthday month.

This year I turn 58, beginning my 59th trip around the sun.

Honestly, I don’t feel 58 at all.

If anything, I feel energized by the opportunities ahead, the people I continue to meet, and the conversations we get to have every week on the podcast.

Age has taught me many things, but perhaps the most important is that growth never stops. There is always another lesson to learn, another relationship to build, another challenge to embrace, and another opportunity to serve.

Pax8 Beyond 2026

We recently returned from Pax8 Beyond in Salt Lake City, one of the premier events in the managed services industry.

The event was outstanding.

Beyond the technology, vendors, and announcements, what continues to impress me most is the strength of the MSP community. The willingness to collaborate, share ideas, and help one another succeed is something special.

While attending the event, we recorded 14 incredible conversations with industry leaders, innovators, and thought-provoking guests.

We’ll be releasing those conversations in the coming weeks and months, and I think you’re going to enjoy them.

Approaching Episode 900

What started as a simple podcast has become one of the most rewarding journeys of my life.
