Candace’s “Aha” moment in the restaurant led to my present business, The Girl Can Cook! Cooking Studio & Kitchen. She taught psychology at the graduate and then high school levels and has always been a teacher. She tried teaching a cooking class at a Viking appliance gallery next door to the restaurant, and that was all it took—blending her love of food, teaching, and performing into one business! From a local demand and much hard work, The Girl Can Cook! concept and location were developed.
